the first thing you need to remember is DO NOT put your full name on the internet, also don't put any of your friends information out there either. You shouldn't put your address, school you attend, or were you work. I know people will seem like they are your friend and they wont hurt you but no matter what you cant fall for their tricks so when they ask you for your email address or your I.M name SAY NO!
Second thing is now a days when you apply for a job they check websites where you might have a profile. if you were to have a blog and they find it and go through it that could determine wether you get the job or not. you must be careful what you put on here. You shouldn't post anything bad wether its about a person or place or your life. Pictures say a lot more then words can at times so don't put anything you wouldn't want to haunt you later.
Third you should probably blog about a topic you know things about and people would be interested in. If you are just making up things and your topic is lame people wont want to read it and you're wasting your time.
